Hi! I'm a 63-year-old gal who's trying to stay alive! I want to improve my health and save my joints by losing fat. Plus, like any woman, I want to look nicer, wear stylish clothes, and be able to tie my shoes!

A few years back I had great success and dropped 65 lbs. I felt wonderful. I could do all sorts of activities and I felt free. Dang if I didn't let myself slip and gain my weight back. So, I'm here to get healthier.

HELP WITH VIGORFIT/TOTAL GYM ROUTINE
Hello All,

I just purchased a Vigorfit resistance exerciser and I also have a mini trampoline. I am very sedentary and I want to begin my routine safely to avoid injury and build my coordination. Can anyone give me some pointers or share routines that you do? I'm motivated to make the change!

Hi Diablo360x, Looks like you are up late too! I agree...you should eat what you want. I feel the best when I eat LCHF. My brain functions better, my skin is subtle, I'm rarely hungry, and it helps me return to my REAL body weight. Put it this way...KETO is my friend! I love veggies and meat together! I actually hate pasta and bread. What do you think my KCALS should be? I'm 5'7, 56 years...I have it set at 1300...should I change it?

For that occasional sweet tooth? Try fatbombs made from coconut oil & butter, cocoa/sanka, stevia. Keep them in the freezer. I also enjoy homemade ice-cream made with whipping cream & sugar free torani & seltzer...(I use a childs hand-crank ice-cream maker). I stall if I eat ATKINS bars...that is if I eat the entire thing. I have been successful cutting various flavors up into candy size pieces and keeping them in the freezer in a pretty box. I would only eat a/one piece if I was crawling the wall for a treat! One little piece will not stall you! One last little secret I do...it does not involve eating...I like to rub Hershey cocoa powder on my wrist and smell it! The aroma makes your brain think you are eating it! It really works Wink

Good Morning! These are my favorite proteins: bacon + any kind of vegetable(cooked southern style), fish (canned, smoked, fresh, ceviche), seafood (shrimp, lobster, calamari, oysters), cheese crisps w/salsa or guacamole,clam chowder made with cauliflower and whipping cream, any kind of meat soup/broth, cream cheese, regular cheese (limited amounts). Plus, I like to doctor-up my eggs with tbsp salsa or guacamole or hot wing sauce. Eggs are really versatile...quiche, egg salad, stevia egg nog, deviled egg, hollandaise, egg flower soup, stevia egg custard... (am I starting to sound like Bubba in Forest Gump?) Any kind of meat I cook I trade around the spices to make it interesting.

P.S. Trying to do around 5% carb, 15% protein, 80% fats of RDI
