Sabotaged at work?
I have this happen quite a bit in the office, especially around birthdays and other holidays. The LEFT OVERS are always offered around more than once so they dont have to go home with whoever brought them. I am known as the "cake-lover" so I get offered cake A LOT~! I do eat a piece every now and then but its becuase I watch my fat and sugar intake most of the time. I have switched to lowfat/nonfat frozen yogurt instead of ice cream to get my sweets fix. I have started to tell people at the office that instead of counting calories (which i am still doing) Im on a strict High Protien Diet (which is true). My protien is higher than it used to be. I have to cut out some fat and carbs to sub protien with and usually when people hear your on a "strict" or specific plan, they let you be. Health issues, like having high blood pressure or high cholesterol are all good enough reasons to give to turn down those extra sweets. Or, if you do decide to treat yourself, scrap of some of the icing/topping/extra sugaries to enjoy your nummies with quite a bit less guilt afterward. I have had to come to terms with my guilt about food. Its okay to eat foods that are not 0 calories as and treat yourself but all in moderation, so you can feel good about it later too!

wondering
RDIs Table (For people 4 years or older, eating 2,000 calories per day)
Daily Values(DVs)
Total Fat grams (g) 65
Saturated fatty acids grams (g) 20
Cholesterol milligrams (mg) 300
Sodium milligrams (mg) 2400
Potassium milligrams (mg) 3500
Total carbohydrate grams (g) 300
Fiber grams (g) 25
Protein grams (g) 50

About 45-65% of your intake should be from carbs (unless you are on a modified diet-ie High protien, low carb etc)
