I am 4'11 and 52 pounds overweight. I just switched from WW to Atkins and am on my second day of Induction. I lost 1.1 lbs on the first day. I feel better but must say I feel a little slower mentally and physically. I am still committed to continuing.

Calling All Atkins Induction Folks...
I thought I was doing Induction, but then someone posted that I was not. Although all my carbs are coming from vegetables, I have never really hit 20 Net Carbs but usually 29-33. Also, I worry about calcium. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It really works
Thanks Tramore and An00bis. I read some of the criticism of the diet and have tried to consider this in my food choices. Really, I should be eating more calories but I will integrate this after I loose about 1/2 the weight.

I make low fat protien choices like fat free cheese, skinless chicken, boiled egg and fish. I don't think being on Atkins means you can eat three steaks, for instance.

It really works
I am down 2.8 pounds in four days. Cant' believe it. I am eating low fat, whole foods and counting overall calories in addition to walking. I don't feel the lethargy that I felt during first two days. I feel a lot better.

Induction Day #3
Hello! It is great to find a supportive community...I am on my third day of Induction and feel much better than the first two days. I walked today and am also on the 21 day change a bad habit exercise challenge. I had a few urges today but restrained. Drinking water really helps.Smile
