After weighing over 215 lbs I decided to loose some weight with my cousin. I started out with lots of swimming and just eating less. I lost about 30 lbs but still wanted to loose more. My cousin then told me about P90X which I though was a joke because its was some DVD workout video. I just moved into my first house and did it just for a way to hang out with some people. The day I went to go workout they told me it was to hard and quit. I was so ticked off I told them I could do it for 90 days. The first session of P90X was chest and back after finishing it I was shocked at how hard it was, but it only got harder from there. I did finish it and keeped up with it for a year even completing the advanced P90x+. I lost lots of weight and was very happy with the results but got board doing the same thing over and over. So I tried Mens Health Big Book of Exercises. The food plan was OK even though the exercises seemed similar to P90X. I then tried LL Cool Jay's Platinum 360 and completed the program. It involved a lot of running and his plan helped me run a 5k in 21 min and I'm 32!!! I then got board of that one and played around with some recipes from BodyrockerTV.com and even tried some of the exercises. Soon I thought I remember a lot of the exercises and all 4 have different types of food so Ill just combine them all and make my own routine. I have taken the whole muscle confusion thing to a whole new level, I never do the same workouts and my diet comes from all 4 and even some from online recipes. Ive discovered that unless you exercise and eat something different all the time you will relapse and go back to your old ways because routine is boring.

Lost 60 lbs with P90x+, and did ll's Platnum 360, Mens health, and BodyrockerTV.com
I've done lots of diets and lost 60 lbs and keeped it off for 4 years. I'm trying a new plan that uses a higher consumption of fat so don't try it if your trying to loose weight. I'll be posting on my results later on if its a good diet or not and what my cholesterol is. This is experimental.

If you want to try my diet just get the low fat versions of the foods that I am eating high in fat. Thats the only thing I changed in my diet, I eat the same things just more fat. Like extra lean ground beef and turkey. I also never cooked with coconut oil or at butter so just leave that out and go with a no calorie cooking spray like olive oil.

Also unless you lift very hard DO NOT EAT the same amount of protein just leave out the post workout shake. instead have 8oz of milk and some fruit for a post work out meal. And make sure you work hard enough to earn it.
