Hello world!

I am a 20 year old student, and I currently reside in Long Island, New York! I'm in a dormitory so it's pretty interesting here... I started my LIFESTYLE CHANGE on November 25th, 2007. Things are going great and with perseverance, determination, and great efforts I will reach my weight/size goals!
I have a weakness for sweets, mainly ice cream. That's probably what got me here in the first place, besides being lazy and being inactive. But I'm learning slowly and taking better care of myself! I'm planning on working out at least 3 days a week, alternating with cardio and weight training to get rid of this flab! Instead of bringing not-so-sexy fat, I want to bring oh-so-sexy back! Woohoo!!

Goal Weight: 160 lbs

Need to Lose 1/2 Your Bodyweight?
That was awesome work she's done ( and doing)!! She looks fabulous and a LOT happier! It's a great idea to take progress photos, maybe I should - just too see if there are any visible differences Razz.

Mid-section weight
I have a similar issue (most of my weight is in my tummy) I know that doing cardio and RIGHT AFTER doing crunches or sit ups, side bends and other tummy/back strength work outs. Since your heart rate will be up, your body will (usually) focus on burning on the fat that surrounds the muscles you work out Smile. Hope that helps!

Bingeing
Hey! I totally have this issue with binging when stressed out, depressed, or even bored Embarassed ! It stinks because it's like all of my hard work goes to waste if i overdo it Sad . I find that chewing on ice really helps my cravings and curves my appetite for a little while. It's not so great for your teeth, so if you happen to have access to crushed ice, go for it!Very Happy
