Hi, I am a 37 year old single mom with 8 children. I have 6 boys and 2 girls ranging in age from 16 months to 18 years. I was always blessed with a turbo metabolism, but as I am aging I am really finding it takes a lot more work to stay where I need to with my weight. I have not been at my desired weight for some time now, and feel like it just kept gradually climbing. I decided to get control of the situation now before it becomes even harder. I would like to lose 10 lbs, then adjust my diet to maintain that weight. I want to make a lifestyle change rather than just the up and down yo yo I am used to. I am the General Manager at a franchise motel, so I don't get a lot of exercise at work and juggling the job and the kids has made it hard for me to be as active as I would like to be.
