Hi, my name is Emily.

One of the most important things I have learned is to do something every day that will bring you closer to your goal. Don't stress over the big picture. Make it a daily or even an in the moment thing. And plan! Decide to change you life, put a plan into place, follow it and you will succeed!! Plan your meals ahead, log them before you eat and do the same for your workouts. Seriously, it changes everything!

Purchase equipment or gym?
I wouldn't be working as hard as I am without being at a gym and as part of a "boot camp" program. For me, classes are a must. I don't have the personal willpower to push myself as hard without the help and the accountability being around other people provides. Smile

Husband Sabotage...
I too have the same issues with my honey. He knows how happy I am to have lost the weight yet he still suggests Burger King for lunch because he is craving it and brings junk into the house when he goes shopping.

I understand that he has every right to eat what he wants too. The issue is that he too complains about his gut, yet continues to suggest unhealthy choices for both of us. Perhaps I just need to work harder on my will power but it would be MUCH easier if he would help.

Control?
I am in the same boat! Especially when really hungry or stressed. Try to keep healthy things available that are already prepped. I have also heard that brushing your teeth when you get a craving helps.
