My name is Jan, I am 66 years young and about to retire from the work force, yee haa, my DH and I have been married for 50 years, we have two daughters and 8 Grandkids and 1 Great Grandson.
We live in Northern California right on the coast, I can walk to the ocean.
I have been doing a modified Atkins for a little over a month and have lost 15 pounds so far.

Has your Cholesterol Blood-Test reading improved on the Atkins diet?
I have been wondering about my Cholesterol also, it has been high for years and I am on Statins and have been for a long time, I go see my doctor next week to get the results of my last blood draw, sure hope things are okay.

Atkins
Hi, I have been following Atkins since the first of last December, I have lost almost 30 pounds so far, it has been real easy for me to follow, which is a big surprise to me. I was a sugar holic and have had NO trouble staying off the sweets, for the most part, granted there was one or two times when I slipped. Just besure to eat enough protien at each meal and you shouldn't get hungry between meals.
I would love to be one of your buddies.
