On October 20, 2008 my wife, my daughter, some friends and I started our own “Bigger Loser Challenge”. With Weight Watchers point systems, about 23 to 24 points per day, and the Biggest Loser Workout: Cardio Max and Power Sculpt my wife and I set out to lose those unwanted pounds. We workout and watch what we eat and the pounds are coming off. As of this week we both have lost over 22 pound each. In week 3 my wife’s doctor took her off her blood pressure medicine. This stuff really dose work!!!!

net calories?
You are right, if you burn more calories than you consume you will loss weight.
I used the point system and I would consume 24 points at 50 cal per point = 1,200 cal per day. Work out, 6 days per week (rest one day) with 3 days per week cardio and 3 day cardio + strength training.

Diabetes - HELLLLP!
My wife was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure last year. We started "really" watching what we eat and working out 6 nights a week. With in 3 months she was off the blood pressure meds and now she has a clean bill of health. So you can win!!! This is just another hurdle to make you stronger!!!!!
