Hello - I'm curious to know if anyone else eats several smaller meals a day rather than the big three. I have found that if I spread out the meals by planning 5 or six snacks with the needed protein/fat/carb balance my day goes much better.

I eat 3 small meals and if hungry a snack in between. I am a new Diabetic as of July this year. I find it difficult to eat 3 meals a day. In the past I only ate when I was hungry, so now it is another story. I usually have 2 slices of toast with 1 Tbl of butter for breakfast. Lunch varies with a Sandwich. I follow somewhat close to what my Dietican gave me although I belong to Tops she told me I could just do what my Doctor says to do. I am suppose to have 30-45 carbs Bkft, Lunch and Dinner.
