Has anone else noticed a difference in their weight when the Wii Fit Board is on carpeting instead of a hard surface? There was about a pound and a half difference in my weight when I had the board on carpeting and when I placed it on a cutting board. I know I did not lose 1.5 pounds in a couple of minutes?

I have emailed Nintendo and asked for their answer as well.

Hello, Daddy - Yes, I had, a small amount of difference.. we put in a larger turkey rug so now it's always on the rug. As long as you're consistant, you'll get an "accurate" reading.. cause you'll have the same baseline. I always wear the same outfit on the wii (just a long nightgown, no fancy gym clothes) to help keep the baseline accurate.

I tried putting mine on a yoga mat on the carpet and it was waaaay off. By like 7 pounds. Now I just keep it on the carpet, realize there is some margin for error, and rely on my scale in my kitchen for my actual weight.

I always weigh on this one scale I have irl, and once it told me I was 10 pounds lighter because it was halfway on the carpet. Carpets can change your weight by a ton.
