Does anyone on here ever drink anything alcoholic? I love having a glass or so of wine with my dinners and occasionally like to go out with friends.... I'd be happy to hear input from anyone who's dealt with this one. Thanks!

I use alcohol to boost up the calorie count of my evening meal if I haven't had enough intake for the day. I also don't shy away from going out for drinks with friends, all it means is doing more exercise to make up for it.

I drink a whole small bottle of wine a couple times a week. It's hard to give it up. I don't like to pass it up at get togethers either but I'm sure cutting back (cuz it's empty cals and lots sugar) would make a difference for most people. I tried factoring the cals of my drinks in my caloric limit for the day but it leaves little room for food! lol.

I tend to have a shot of whiskey every evening (and the occasional glass of wine). It's a great way to unwind at the end of the day. I think that as long as you don't over-do it, drinking can be good for your health- both physical and mental.

I don't think a glass a wine would be ok if you are not overdoing it...same goes for going out and having a drink with friends just don't overdo it.

I go out a couple times a month sometimes more depending on what's going on that month. Sometimes I feel guilty so I try to drink vodka n crystal light lemonade since the lemonade has no cals. I also love moscato-yummy! I don't see a problem as long as it's limited.

if you are out on the town ask for a diet gin and tonic or diet rum and coke. Martinis are also pretty low in calories. dieting shouldn't be a reason you cant go out and have a few drinks on the weekend.

vodka water with lemon and lime, the lemon and lime cut down on the vodka taste and you're getting some hydration with every drink too, but no extra calories

I'm mostly 200 calories under my daily intake. So, I go every other weekend or so and have a few drinks with a band I follow. I love to drink sangria. I've recently gone to a bar that actually makes a "low-sugar" one for me. I keep my calories low for that day also. <3 SKYTLEBICH <3
