Let's go. Time to fight back. Healthy foods and healthy habits. Want to feel good from the inside out to help fight "the cancer." Lots of information and misinformation out there on "cancer-fighting foods." Thought I'd take the route of moderation, with an emphasis on fruits and veggies. Nutrition 101.

The ACS recommends 5 or more servings of fruits and veggies each day. The deeper the color the better they are for you. Also look for the orange colors. They are supposed to be good for you too. One thing I did when I began researching food after treatment was buy organic dairy and meats. I get veggies too when I can afford it, but the dairy and meats are more affected by pesticides, hormones and antibiotics than the veggies. I or my dad grows most of the veggies I eat so that really only leaves the fruits.
