Hey everyone, I'm new here. My name is Ashley and I'm a nearly 20 year old college student trying to lose weight. I started out at 250 when I was 17. I'll be 20 in May and I'm down to 177. Now I'm trying to reach my ultimate goal weight of 135 and get fit in the process. For the past five weeks I've been running, taking a Zumba class Wednesday nights, and doing occasional strength training.
I've been doing this on my own, with the exception of seeing a nurse every Friday to monitor my progress. Running, exercising, and changing a lifestyle on ones own can be difficult, so I joined this site and this group for motivation and support.
I hope that I can be there for all of y'all like I hope y'all can be here for me.
