I use fresh brewed espresso and crushed ice. Is the cocoa powder allowed? You could also throw in a little Stevia.

I add the shakes to iced coffee from the coffee house, just taste the coffee first to make sure they don't accidentally give you sweetened coffee!! I made that mistake once, & dumped in almost my whole prepared shake. When I tasted it, it was sooo sweet, but I'd already used up most of my lunch. I didn't drink it; luckily, I had an IP snack with me & wasn't far from home. With unsweetened iced coffee, ice, a Tbs of skim or unsweetened almond milk, & cinnamon or nutmeg to taste, it's awesome! Don't use the dry cocoa at coffee shops, as it's often sweetened. (I not only like the taste of this, but it makes it go further--I often add more coffee, ice, or water as I go to stretch it out).
