Wow, this is really eye-opening. Having fibro, I know I get little refreshing sleep which fitbit can't measure "yet" and I knew I had nights I didn't sleep well. I've had nights I slept "most" of the nights I was in bed, anywhere from 3.5 to 5 or so hours, waking 5-8 times some nights. Last night I woke 13 times. I was in bed at after midnight and got up at about 7:45. I was asleep 10 minutes after getting in bed and was in bed with my eyes closed 7 hours and 10 minutes but only slept 3 hours and 47 minutes. The rest of the time I was rabbiting. It's not unusual for me to get up in the night for the bathroom but not last night. My sleep effeciency was 57%. Aside from not getting refreshing sleep on a regular basis, it's no wonder I feel like crap lol.

I have times when my sleep efficiency is low, and I can almost always tell, even before looking at the data. I feel crappy when my sleep is poor. Hopefully you can find a way to get more refreshing sleep! Hugs, my friend!

Thanks Stef! Yeah, I wish I could figure out how to get better sleep. Hitting the proper REMS is the biggest challenge. I do know that though I can handle a small glass of wine before bed, any more than that and my sleep is disturbed. It may sound funny but though I've had fibro for years, STILL I have a hard time relating to my own symptoms. As in feeling like laying down all day because I feel awful and very tired. It's an odd feeling to actually look at a graph and see that I'm really not lazy. I really am sick. Does that make sense?

Butterfly hugs!

My goodness, I forgot I had joined this group ... so glad I found it again. I had a horrible night's sleep last night and didn't need my fitbit to tell me.

I have to say, though, having my FitBit on my wrist at night is annoying and wakes me up. LOL! I quit wearing it at night. I'm bad, I know. Hugs!!
