All Faiths and denominations welcome.
Greetings!
We want this group to remain open to all Fat Secret members, and will remain so as long as ALL are respectful of the freedom to worship - one of the main principals the United States was founded on.
The following are the core beliefs of this group:
1. Jesus conquered death through the Cross so that we may be saved.
2. By his stripes, we are healed (not to be mistaken for a pocket genie who does our bidding and heals us by our standards and our will)
3. We can do all things - including weight loss - through Christ who strengthens us
4. The Bible is the living word of God. This group shall operate on the premise that we all most likely have scales on our eyes, and that none of us understand His word perfectly (meaning, each denomination has missed the mark in some way or another - none are perfect just as none of us are.)
5. Hot-topics such as predestination; King-James only v/s modern translations; Arguments over 1 Cor 14; homosexual marriage need to be checked at the door (see #4)
