I've used both, but am leery of Splenda. I try to use Stevia more. http://www.gaia-health.com/articles/000038-Sucralose.shtml

I've never tried stevia - use splenda daily and it doesn't cause any problems for me.

I like Splenda but have begun to dabble a bit with Stevia. Haven't developed an opinion either way yet.

Stevia! And not the Truvia kind either. According to my Dr artificial sweetners like splenda and equal act as neurotoxins because they disrupt something or other (way too in depth for this early to get into) so I stick to straight Stevia. He says the Truvia is fine but it has a nasty after taste to me.

I like mixing them up and not depending too much on any single sweetner. Dr. Atkins said they work better when used synergistically.

You know, since I first heard about the "evils" of aspartame back in the 1990s in articles and "warning" emails frequently even virally forwarded so often I was getting them weekly, all of them ending with glowing reviews for "Stevia"--which at that time was only beginning to be readily available in health food stores--I've been very wary of such supposedly scientific articles and testimonies. This form of sales by trashing competition really stunk to me, and I'm just now beginning to forgive them enough to use Stevia. These new attacks on Splenda smell the very same to me. The truth is sugar can kill you if you let it. We should all limit consuming anything highly altered from the form God created them as in nature.

I try to avoid Aspartame where ever possible. I very rarely drink sodas anymore and have stopped using Equal. I am using splenda now, but have cut down the amount I use of that too. I was a diet coke junkie, easily having downed six a day. Has Atkins come out on Stevia? I had thought the Atkins organization had not evaluated it yet.
