Hi everyone, brand new to your group. I am 62yrs. Married and freshly retired. My husband and I retired on the same day and we are trying to lose the weight together. We are on the right track, and just have to keep it up. Glad to be in this group. Enjoy crocheting, reality shows, and the gym.

Hi edog49....welcome to the group. I am a relative newbie to this website, but I have found it extremely helpful for keeping track of my daily eating and exercising. I too am 62 and have been retired for 2 years. I finally decided it was time to lose weight and eat healthier. I am mainly counting calories and have tried to eliminate most breads, pasta, rice, refined starches and sugars. So far, so good. I am down 14 pounds since mid March and want to lose another 35 or so in a slow, controlled manner. glad you've hopped on board, see you around.

Thank you, I am following my husband's diabetic diet and we are both following it together. We mostly watch our carbs and calories, but also the sodium. I like this website alot and will enjoy talking to you.
