My scale isn't moving much at the moment. I'm cutting out my Atkins bars for a week as I think I am eating too many (3) a day. I also had a cheat day. Yesterday got back on the wagon and had a good day. I've also been looking into the Dukan diet. I may try adapting my diet plan a bit adding in 1/2 plain 0 fat yogart or cottage cheese with 1.5 tabelspoon bran. The bran is suppose to fill you up and you shouldn't feel hungry. I may try that for the next week and see if I can get the scale moving more. The weather is getting nice so I will also add a walk in. Glad to see everyone is still plugging along. Seems so much harder to lose now than when I was younger.

I too have been loosing slower than when I was younger when I did the Atkins. I just went off the plan for 2 days to see if I can give myself a kick on turning the keto stick purple again. I went back on Atkins today and will see if this works. I'm kind of impatient on the scale. I have a hard time putting down the Atkins bars as well. I only got enough for a week and hoping to have just 1 a day. I definitely will stay on the diet though as I am loosing but just slowly.

I too am loosing VERY slowly, but I weigh now what I have not weighed in YEARS. I stay away from Atkins bars, but like sugar free Russell Stover candy. That has been trouble for me. I just got back from a trip, managed to stay at the same weight. Today it's back to recording everything. That is so very important.

I need to start posting more. Well I had a good week, down 5 lbs. I think the bran is helping me. I am not so hungry. My daughter did visit and we took her out for pizza which I also enjoyed. Shouldn't have but heck Got back on track and we shall see what this week brings. Keeping fingers crossed.

I lost 45 pounds in 6 months last year and got stuck. I gained 12 of those pounds back since January Today is first day back on Atkins. So far so good but I'm really craving the sweets. I found that sugarfree popsicles really help me.

Have been on Atkins now for a month and have lost almost 20 lbs. I need to lose 100, but am setting my initial goal at 40 pounds and am half-way there.

Unfortunately, I have a problem with arthritis in my lower back, so I cannot even walk 50 yards now without pain. I am hopeful that a weight loss will help this and allow me to get some exercise.

Only exercise now is golf twice a week with a cart, but usually at about half a round and I am in pain from my back.

This site is extremely helpful with the logging of foods and the great recipes to keep the diet from becoming too boring.

I have been in a walking group for over three years now, and while it helps with keeping mobile, it hasn't helped with my weight, as I think I have been my heaviest in that time.
