Hi, my name is Sue. I'm 62, married with 2 daughters. Last year I lost 45 pounds (took me about 6 months). I got stuck and the scale wouldn't move for about 4 months. At Christmas I started eating like I did before my weight loss. I am now up 12 pounds and started seriously back to my healthy eating today. I also joined a gym to start exercising and I go at least 4 times a week. Glad to be here. Can use support and will do the same for someone who needs it.

Hi,
Im Donna and I started a couple years ago and did very good at first and since then I have been bouncing up and down. I need to start recording everything I eat. I am starting back tomorrow. I wish you well and maybe we can keep in touch. I am 60 and live in Illinois.

Hey Sue and Donna, I've been doing the "stuck and then yo-yo dance" for awhile too. Like you, I have had past successes so I know I can do it again. As of this morning I am up 12-13 lbs. I refuse to lose the advantages I acquired by my prior efforts and learning. Let's egg each other on to get to the healthy eating and weight!!! I call myself BComingSlim (and I'm 70 and live in Michigan)

I think that is so important. I lost 40 lb originally & have kept it off but then I stalled & have been here for some time. My blood glucose #'s have been good since I lost weight but eating better & exercising more will help even more. I still have a lot of weight to lose but will take it one day at a time & will pick myself back up when I fall.

Hi, Im Heidi I would like to make a comment on stalling. I was in TOPS and a
Nutritionist came and talked to us one evening She said if youre at a plateau
just eat a little bit MORE fat (and I cant remember if she said any Type of fats
-saturated or good fats like mono and Poly unsaturated fats) and increase your
excercise up a notch. This should be all you need to jumpstart your metabolism!!
Good Luck!

Hi, I'm Marie. I must have been a Yo-Yo in another life because that is how my weight goes - up and down. I'd like to get on the right track, stay faithful to my food log and make some new friends. I am 63, live in New York, and would like to loose weight and keep it off this time! Good luck to all!
