Should we tell when we are trying to watch our weight? Or is it easier to keep it for ourselves?

I think it depends upon the person you would like to tell. If it is somebody who is supportive, then yes. If not, then I would keep it to myself.

I agree also!
Even our loved ones seem to be checking out my backside and when I catch them doing it, I don't appreciate it so much.
I'm more then just a diet and this time only two of my friends know. And I've told them that if I need to talk about it i'll let them know. So far it's been alot easier for me, if I splurge on a meal in the restaurant, I don't feel judged, I'm just more carefull on my next meal.

In Real Life, I treat it as a personal journey. I'm doing it for my health, not anybody else. I'm kind of like that. My wife notices and she appreciates it, just as I appreciate her efforts to stay healthy. But outside of my one intimate relationship? I'd prefer people not comment anyway.
