I'm really needing some motivation. I do really good in the winter and then when summer gets here I blow it. My friends enjoy cook outs so that does me in.Rolling Eyes

I'm just the opposite...stuck inside all during the cold northern winter I love to eat comfort food. The worse the weather, the more foods that qualify as comfort food. I need to lose 23 pounds before the weather breaks...does anyone post on this site anymore

hi, i'm also in need of motivation. I just seem to lose and gain the same three to four lbs. I'm on a few meds that have the side effect of weight gain that I'm trying to fight against. I'm determined to overcome that and get healthy again

Hi - i'm new here as well - just joined today. Motivation: if you can see in your mind's eye what you want to look like and move toward that vision - then you will make that happen. I know it sounds simple but that is how I lost my first 50 pounds. I just kept visualizing what I always wanted to look like 50 pounds thinner - the kind of skirts, dresses, heels I wanted to wear and I never took my mind's eye off the goal - I lost it on the Atkins program and I was blown away when I accomplished it. I'm here because I put 10 pounds back on and wanted to share the journey with others this time.
