Ok question.. I have a difacult time eating empty cal... I just love snack food.. I am on a low Cal diet and it seem's like I can't hit my goal... What are some healthy snacks besides veggies and fruit lol.. I need my choclate can anyone help with this problem.. I drink about 7 16.9 oz Idea bottles water a day... The water is the key for me... I have already lost 55 lbs by drinking water..Rolling Eyes

I can't say I know of any "healthy" chocolate but there are some that are less bad. One thing we like is dipping chunks of banana in dark chocolate. The dark chocolate has some health benefits and the banana adds the sweetness, so you only need a little chocolate.

Also, I like the 60 calorie chocolate mousse jello cups when I'm having a craving.

Dark chocolate is the key. The darker the chocolate the better and unfortunately, bananas are loaded with sugar and carbs. I know it is hard but if you can you need to try to get used appreciating the dark chocolate as a yummy snack all by itself. Dark chocolate has more antioxidants and chocolate is thought to increase saratonin, a chemical in the body that helps make a person happy. That is why people like it so much and the reason the more we eat the better we feel. If you are not a big dark chocolate fan right now try something like Hershy's Special Dark which is about 58% cocoa and see if you can work your way up to a 70% or 80% dark chocolate. I prefer 80% dark now and it is a real treat for me to have one square every evening. Good Luck!

Cheese on whole-grain crackers or a small apple with peanut butter or berries and almonds or a small serving of 85% dark chocolate or True North Almond Pecan Cashew Clusters. I try to limit my snacks to no more than 15 carbs, and I usually include some protein.

Whenever I get a chocolate craving... I eat some trail mix with raisins and some m & M s in them. that always does the trick.
