Help please! I m having hard time losing weight and getting back on track to exercising. Last year I had csection and tubes tide. I've heard its hard after that but I'm not sure if that's true. I just know I changed my eating big time and no weight loss. This week I'm trying to make myself exercise even when tired. My baby is very busy plus I have 3 other children. My goal weight is 125. I have 20 pounds to lose. I was 115 when I got pregnant and now I can't lose the extra weight.
So I'm hoping to chat with others and keep at it.

What all are you eating? You must realize that its not about what you stop eating, but how much you are eating, and in some cases, what you eat. My name is James and I'm a registered nutritionist. I'm on this thing too to be a motivator as well as lose weight the correct way. If I can help out, just feel free to ask. Good Luck!!!

Wow thank u. I grll chicken breast for my salads. I eat that everyday. I love ice cream and I have that almost every day.. its hard to when my bf wants that and once its in house I can't stay away from it. I been snacking in middle of night when I get up to get a bottle for our little girl.. I'm trying not to do that.
I started back to exercising. My bf and I rode our bicycles everyday this week so far. Today we have severe storms all day so prob wont do that.
I'm not much of a water drinker. Actually I don't really drink much of anything. Ill have a glass or two of water and or sugar free coolaide.
I will have jello or 90 calories granola bar for snack..if we have extra money I get more fruits. Going thru a tight financial crisis right now so it's a little harder with dieting. Oh also I will eat tuna without anything right out of the can for a snack. It has to be name brand tho.
Any suggestions and ideas wud be great help.

There are four things I'm aiming for.
1) Protein. I'm going by 1/2 body weight of protein in grams. For example, if I'm 170 lbs, I'm aiming for 85 grams of protein, mostly egg whites and tuna b/c they're easy, but turkey/chicken, beans, and other fish too.
2) Fiber. I'm shooting for between 30-50 grams of fiber a day.
3) No sweets after lunch. Not even fruit. It's nuts or things like Asian seaweed snacks, or a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water. I figure if there's low blood sugar in my bloodstream while I'm sleeping, my liver can synthesize it into fat. For some reason, I'm programmed to eat bigger deserts late in the day too, so this dodges that.
4) At least eight glasses of liquid, mostly tea and water daily. I've always found that liquids and weight loss go hand in hand.

I'm trying to eat foods and condiments that demonstrably regulate blood sugar. Oatmeal, berries, apple cider vinegar, tumeric, green tea, grapefruit, cinnamon and nuts all qualify.
