This is my first week on a diet. I now know why it is not a good thing to weigh-in on a daily basis...my weight is like a pogo stick...up and down up and up. Oh well, sticking to the diet and exercising, hopefully my 1 week weigh-in will show a net loss. -__-

I have always been told that it takes 2 months for you to get a true weight loss due to redistribution of water weight. It takes 2 months for it to finally balance out. Measurements are always the best indicator for myself at the beginning. Don't get discouraged!!!!

I agree that using weight numbers can be deceiving to track fitness goals. I pay more attention to how my clothes fit. This will usually tell you quicker than the actual number on the scale.
