I am new to this site but I cannot wait to get started. I have been eating healthier and walking for about a week and I cannot wait until I start seeing results.I have done this "DIETING" thing before and I lost nearly 30lbs. I did not continue and I feel as if I have gained all the weight back and more. I find that PRAYER gets me through each day and I continuously remind myself that this fight is one day at a time and that I will win the the battle. I want to get down to 150lbs. but am shooting to loose just 1-2 lbs a week until I get my self in better shape mentally and physically and then I will shoot for higher goals right now I just need to get started. Thanks for being there for me. Hope to hear more from you all.

You can do this. I have been struggling as well, but feel like I am finding myself with a better attitude towards dieting as I look to God for guidance and direction. I have 175 lbs to lose before I reach my goal, but I know if I can drop 1-2 pounds a week I can reach this goal. Hang in there!

Congrats on your start to a healthier life Smile I try not to think of this a diet, but a change in lifestyle to be healthier and fit and the weight loss will follow. Shooting for 1-2 pounds a week is an awesome goal and can be done, its better to set goals you can reach and gain confidence then to set goals that are unattainable and that can derail your healthy living.
