There are numerous diet books, cookbooks, GI tables and online resources available on the GI diet. The more prominent books discussing weight loss being “The G.I. diet” by Rick Gallop (2003), and the “The low G.I diet” by Dr Jennie Brand Miller (2005). Rick Gallop employs a traffic light system to foods to assist in weight loss.
