This diet is just basically a very low calorie diet. It definetley promotes fast weight loss, and isn't really recommended for very active people. The amount of calories you are allowed wouldn't sustain you through the day. This diet is great for people like me, who -good excuse or not- are not active throughout their day. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume; and just functioning during the day without any excersice, your body burns 1000 calories. So to eat less than 1000 calories, will help you lose weight fast.
