 Summary:

This diet is just basically a very low calorie diet. It definetley promotes fast weight loss, and isn't really recommended for very active people. The amount of calories you are allowed wouldn't sustain you through the day. This diet is great for people like me, who -good excuse or not- are not active throughout their day. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume; and just functioning during the day without any excersice, your body burns 1000 calories. So to eat less than 1000 calories, will help you lose weight fast.

 How To Follow Rosalie's own diet:

For beginners, start out with 1500 calories for the first week. The second, I'd go down to 1200. The third 1000. Personally, I usually have under 1000 a day. I went straight into the diet this way, and lost weight fast. I wouldn't recommend such a low diet to athletes, or even moderatly active individuals. Yo need more energy for the day than that amount would provide.

Rosalie's top tips

1.Eat fiber full foods all the time. They are great at filling you up.
2.Vegetables and fruits have very very little calories. Use them for snacks or as a major part of a meal to save up calories. (I eat raw cauliflower and broccoli with lowfat Italian dressing. Only 20 calories a serving!)
3.Keep a small notebook or notepad, or even just a note card with you everywhere you go. This way you can precisely keep track of your calories.
4.Read the labels all the time, and correctley put down the amount of calories. If you have two servings of something, but only put down the amount of one down, then you're just cheating yourself.

About / History

I learned that you need to burn more calories than you consume during the day to lose weight (as a basic rule of thumb). So I just developed it from there I guess. I also learned without any additional exercise, you already burn 1000 calories a day, so to eat less than that, will help you lose fast.
