Resolution's low carb low calorie diet


 Summary:

THis is a low calorie, low carbohydrate and high protein diet with an emphasis on timing of meals and portion control. Portion control is helped with appetite suppressants and vitamins. There are 3 phases of the diet, protein only for 3 days, then add vegetables for next 2 weeks then at fruit and legumes. The diet provides moderate to rapid weight loss, increased energy and reduces risk do developing chronic disease. There are Resolutions weight loss centers in North Florida.

Asbatty's top tips

1.1st 3 days all protein. Starting 4th day allowed 25 or less net carbs. No fruit until week 3, then just 1 to 2 servings a day.
2.Eat at 400 calories per day in protein and 250 to 400 calories as acceptable low carb vegetables. 5 servings veggies per day. Fish at least 2 times per week.
3.Eat 4 to 5 times per day in small meals/ snacks. Use EAS proteins drink as a snack daily. Sugar free Popsicles allowed as well as sugar free jello for snack.
4.Eat soy cheese, or low cheese stick, or fat free cheese for dairy. Take calcium pyruvate with last bite of lunch and dinner.
5.Limit use of oils and butter. May use small amount of olive oil. Fat free salad dressings (low sugar) and vinegar allowed, can use your small amount of olive oil in dressing.
6.Avoid processed foods (chips, pretzels, boxed foods), trans fats, animal fat, sugars, jams, cakes, cookies; breads, cereals, rice, pasta, starchy veggies, fried foods, breading, alcohol, dairy products, sweetened beverages.
