MightyFull's own diet

 Summary:

Basically, the diet I'm on is a combination of the Core plan from Weight Watchers and a Vegetarian Diet. I'm not a 100% vegetarian - I enjoy meat, but not alot of it. Having a minimum of 5 veggies or fruits per day is necessary. Eating 6 times a day -- snack at 10:30am (protein and fruit), 3:30pm (protein and veggie) and 7:30pm (protein and fruit). Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner -- one bread portion, one protein portion, and remaining fruits and veggies. Do not overdo it with the veggies -- ie, do not eat a meal with green veggies (fresh) back to back. Colorful is better than all the same color. I drink (or try to) 1 gallon of water per day. Some days I get 32 oz in, and I'm good. Listen to what your body says to do. If you cannot drink 32 oz yet, start with 16 oz. Work your way up.

How To Follow MightyFull's own diet:

Fresh is better -- fresh fruits and veggies are the key. Try whatever fruit or veggie is in season. Try a warm salad. Try new receipes. Find what you can live with, what won't break you financially, and what you enjoy. If this diet doesn't work for you, try something new. Find what you enjoy, and get the results you desire, and go for it!

MightyFull's top tips

1.Add cucumber slices to water for added flavor, especially if drinking plain water is tough for you.
2.Write down what you eat daily....even if you don't get all the calories, fat/carb/sodium/fiber/protein information in.
3.Spend 30, 45, 60 minutes a day walking - get out in the fresh air. It will help you clear your mind.
4.Find an activity you enjoy, and get off the sofa/couch and do it! If you haven't been active in a while, you may want to contact your physician first.
5.You never fail until you stop trying. (As seen on a bumper sticker)
6.You are worth the effort.
