Breakfast should consist of a combination of carbs and fat, no animal proteins, except butter and cream, and breakfast should be big, 3-4 rolls or slices of bread, jam, honey, butter or savory spreads, fruit or fruit juice, or cereals, but no milk, only cream, and should be really big - BMI over 30: 100 g carbohydrates, BMI below 30: 75 g carbohydrates. Lunch and dinner until feeling pleasantly satisfied.
Lunch is either carb-based or protein-based. If you choose the carb version you may have some dessert.
Dinner should always be based on proteins.
- no restriction on fat
- starchy veggies are only allowed with carb meals, non-starchy veggies can be eaten generously with all meals
- legumes should only be eaten at lunchtime
- rice and potatoes should be precooked and then reheated.
No snacking between meals or after dinner!
