Modified Slim Fast Diet


 Summary:

This is a long-term weight loss plan that incorporates Slim Fast shakes into a low-fat menu. Shakes one or two times a day, with one or two meals and two snacks. Watch the fat. Nothing is really restricted, but keep in mind that if you eat it, there will be consequences. For example, I had a serving of bread pudding the other day - it looked so good and I hadn't had bread pudding in a long time. But I knew that it was not low in fat, so I compensated the next day by drinking shakes for two of my meals and walking around the block the next evening.

 How To Follow Modified Slim Fast Diet:

Drink a shake for breakfast, and a cup of coffee or tea with Splenda. Have a mid-morning snack. I usually have a low-fat graham cracker, or a yogurt.

For lunch, eat a real meal, but pay attention to fat content. Just use common sense. If you go to Subway, don't order the meatball grinder. However, you can order the grilled chicken breast and have them put marinara on it. You can also have low-fat chips. Most other fast food is out. Salads with low-fat dressings, chicken, fish, rice, veggies are all great - just watch the fat and how the food is prepared (i.e. grilled over fried).

1.Be aware of what you eat. Even small bites and store samples have calories.
2.It sounds totally crazy, but eat snacks. Have a low-fat snack at mid morning, and another in mid-afternoon.
