Hey, Maybe I am the only one that had this issue...(this would not surprise me) but I was anxious to get in to the habbit of doing Zumba at home in the evenings and so broke out the box of the DVDs. Now, keep in mind I had only done Zumba a few times at the gym in a gym like setting (hard, bare floor) but on the carpet, the traction is horrible. I caused myself a shin splint. I took off my shoes about half way into it, and it was much, much easier. My feet were able to move much quicker and smoother without the rubber soled shoes. Just something to think about. If you have not already tried this from home..be sure to think about the floor you are performing your routine on. Smile

I agree with you. I tried it this morning at my daughter's house and she has carpeting. It was a little hard on the knees. When I will be doing it at home I can move the carpet that is on the floor in my basement. Should be much better.
