Guidelines
Your portions are the first thing you will want to change, six small meals a day works better than three large ones. The smaller the portions the better, it's much easier for the body to process smaller portion at a time. Only eat when your hungry, choose healthy snacks to munch on between your small meals.

Guidelines
Replace all the starch in your diet with fruits and vegetables, if at first this is too difficult, try replacing as much as possible sixty to eighty percent at least. Try to apply this to every meal of the day, even your snacks, try a fruit or vegetable salad.

Plan your meals

Guidelines
For breakfast, incorporate two fruits into your meal. For lunch, incorporate at least one vegetable, and do the same for dinner. Drink six to eight cups of water a day, try to stay away from sugary drinks that are high in calories.

Adopt the habit of regular exercise

Guidelines
Make a plan to work out fifteen to twenty minutes a day. Take some time out to go for walks as often as you can.

Guidelines
Find a support system or get your loved ones involved. This will help you get the encouragement you will need. Even if it's online, surround yourself with people who have the same goals (or who can support you through the good and bad), so you can keep your focus. And don't forget to support others, too!
