A reverse sit up is called a "back up" It's for your back muscles instead of your stomach. It gets rid of your back fat quickly! You lie on your stomach, hands by your ears and slowly lift your torso above the ground for a couple of seconds and lower not all the way to the ground but an inch away. Have someone hold your feet while you are doing this or stick them under a couch or armchair. A recommended amount is about 16 back ups holding each 3 counts each and then 1 more holding for 16 counts. If you are just starting, try 4-8 slow ones every day and increase from there! I hope this helps!

Maggieyhorow, I had the same question about back ups...thanks for your reply. It sorta sounds like what they call the 'female' push up. Is that right...you keep your knees on the floor and raise and lower the front portion of your body??? Thanks again..just want to understand so I get it right!
