Guidelines:
It's springtime! Enjoy the weather! Instead of taking the bus or subway, walk to work or in the park for 1.8 miles twice this week. That's only 36 blocks twice a week! So hop out of bed and take a 40 minute morning, afternoon, or evening walk and you'll feel so much better! Remember, the goal for this week is to lose 1.8lb! Good Luck!

Weeks 2 to 3
Guidelines:
This week, try doing 50 sit-ups (for abs), 50 crunches (for lower abs), and 50 backups-reverse sit-ups (for back fat- if you have a question, ask!) an evening! If you do this every evening you'll notice a significant change! If you can't do 50, Start on Monday with 10/10/10 and then Tuesday 20/20/20 etc! Remember, this week we are losing another 1.8lb which brings our total to 3.6! Good Luck!

Weeks 3 to 4
Guidelines:
Drink at least 80 fl oz of water every day this week! If you think about it, it's really not that much. It's only 10 glasses. To make things easier, buy or use a LARGE- the biggest you can find- around 50fl oz and try and drink as many of them as you can. Water tends to really fill you up, help with metabolism, and more! Again, we are losing 1.8lb this week so that brings our total to 5.4! Good Luck! And don't forget to record your progress weekly!!

Weeks 4 to 5
Guidelines:
Every morning drink a glass of ice cold water (only if you have no medical problems such as heart issues etc) and do 10 squats and run in place for 100 seconds. Starting the day with cold water and exercise can do wonders! This week another 1.8lb will be disappearing bringing our total to 7.2! Good Luck, you're almost there!

Weeks 5 to 6
Guidelines:
This is a crucial week. It's the second to last week and this is when the going gets tough! This week focus on cutting your usual daily intake of calories by 150. Tell yourself "no" when staring at that yummy piece of bread or that ice cream sundae. It will be SO worth it. Just think about it! :) Another 1.8lb this week! We are getting closer and closer!!! It will bring our total to 9lb!! Just 1 more itty bitty one to go!

Week 6
Guidelines:
It's the last week. I know you can do it and YOU know you can do it! This week try to chew each bite of food at least ten times. (Obviously not for a tiny piece of lettuce but a forkful or chicken etc.. ) Also try and finish eating at least 4 hrs before you go to sleep. If you go to bed at 10 stop eating at 6, etc... NO FOOD after that time... Water is ok but juice and other drinks are not! Also try and incorporate each of the previous mini-challenges EVERY day. That includes walking 1.8 miles twice a week, doing a lot of conditioning every day (crunches, sit-ups, backups), drinking 80fl oz (10 [8oz] cups) of water daily, the morning 10 squats and running in place for 100 seconds and drinking one glass of cold water, and cutting back on 150cal per day. GOOD LUCK! This week we only have 1lb left to our goal! Isn't that great? You should be very proud of yourself! Remember to post your progress!
