Hi, my name is Shari and I would like to do a modified version of your challenge. Would that be ok? I want to do something pretty extreme so I thought you might be a good partner because your plan is more extreme than mine, lol. My plan is to eat mainly fruits, veggies, nuts, and legumes. In addition I will allow very small amounts of non-fat milk or yogurt - no more than 4 oz per day. I will allow myself no more than 1 ounce of lean meat a day, and no more than 1 TB healthy oil a day. No processed foods, no cheese, no sugar, no salt. I am kind of torn on bread. I'm thinking maybe no more than 2 slices of very plain homemade bread a day. I know this is not a "raw" diet, but it will be hard enough for me! May I join you? I will exercise 30 minutes and day and also give up my beloved coffee for the hot lemon water in the morning. I will support your efforts enthusiastically. I am at an all-time high with my weight, and I think I am pre-diabetic, so I need to do something drastic! Shari

ok shari!! i m with u in ur effort..go on....do exercises daily it will help u greatly!!

What is your plan Shashank?

I know we kick off tomorrow but right now I am eating slices of a raw sweet potato instead of junk food. Yay! Also I am going to try to give up coffee. I have already set up the coffee pot tomorrow with just enough for my hubby, not me. Wish me luck. I am rather addicted.
