Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any healthy, tasty, and nonsweet snacks that I can carry to office?
My snacking at office is often unhealthy and I was wondering if there is something that I can carry. What do you guys snack on at tea time? Any ideas would be welcome.

I would go for fruit, like apples and bananas. If that is too sweet for you, try veggies. I pack my fiancé 6oz of baby carrots and that’s only 60 calories. You could also pack some grape tomatoes. Oh, or you could buy frozen Edamame, place it in a Ziploc bag, and by the time you are hungry they will be thawed! I think you call me … Sexy.

As I was surfing Pinterest, (I'm an addict!) I came across this article: http://greatist.com/health/88-unexpected-snacks-under-100-calories/I'm not sure how portable some of them are, but it's a start. I think you call me … Sexy.

Fruit (apples with humus are YUMMY and decreases the sweetness of the apple a bit), granola bars (high in calories but good source of whole grains), fruit, veggies with humus or tzatziki sauce, Greek yogurt, hard boiled egg, celery with a little peanut butter. You can also look at our food diaries and see what else people may be snacking on. (Hmmm, I think I may have to do this as well!)

Well all the above is your best advice but if your still hankering for the "next to unhealthy" tasty alternatives try "spiced pork rind's" almost zero carbs and not really all that bad for ya.

Nuts! You have salted nut, sweetened nuts and unsalted nuts. If you are the type who can not stop on the nuts, then get them in their shells. More work, but less in the mouth! Plus, they are really healthy for you!

I like light String Cheese. Get a little calcium that way too.

I always have an apple in my purse - just in case the munchies hit. I also chop up celery into bite sized pieces and keep bags in the fridge that I can just "grab and go" (assuming the 4 wombats I live with don't get to them first). Celery is a negative calorie food - it contains less calories that it takes to consume. I plan on living forever…so far, so good . Rhon

I;m in with the apples, carrots, cheese sticks of 75% fat free cheddar if you have refrigeration, special k chips, 1% cottage cheese...etc... I agree snoop on peoples food diaries. That's where I find ideas to keep it changed up
