wow. i never realized how difficult it is to make the time to enjoy my food, put down the fork, and chew. mornings and snackin' are the most difficult.

i usually get up around 5.30, exercise, get ready for work, then eat. lately i've been getting up at 6.30 or 7, no time to work out, and barely time to eat. fortunately i have time between patients @ work to snack slowly.

today on my day off after the hike i sat down & ate an apple with the doggies outside, taking in the view & sharing my treat. it was really a pleasure.

i've been enjoying reading during my breaks as i munch salad.

numerous small meals & food combination awareness (how food digests) is forcing me to eat, then wait for 30 minutes then eat again if i'm still hungry.

mindfulness is carrying over into other areas of my life. instead of playing on the computer or games on my mobile, i play with my beloved pug, violet rocket. she's so much more fun than games. i get love & entertainment in return. i'm really enjoying it.

peace & love, - d
