Guidelines
Ensure your bike is properly maintained. Have the cables lubed, brakes adjusted, tires tuned, the chain checked, the ride height adjusted, ensure your seat and handlebar grips are in good condition, and ensure your safety gear (helmet, lights, reflective wear, gloves) is available and not worn out. Remember if you crash your helmet once, it is time to replace it!
