Guidelines:
The challenge for this week is a little different. This is an introspective challenge. Please post your thoughts and idea's, what you have learned and if you feel better or are more accepting about yourself now. If there is anything that you did not like before you started this journey that you now like or accept. The highlights of each area are: Turkey, lost luggage, promise letter to other passengers and try a Turkish dish Greece: try a Greek dish and Intentional exercise, try for 4 times a week 30 minutes each Venice: Try a healthy Italian recipe and Talent show, try a new sport/fitness/exercise/talent Venice: Seafood dish and Limbo pole Earn 2 points - For posting your travel log, any thoughts or feelings you share will earn 2 points. only one post per passenger, but the post can cover every port, or just whatever you feel like sharing.

Port: Marmaris, Turkey CUISINE

Guidelines:
Hosh Geldiniz! I (ImLuuvd) had the privilege of living in Turkey for two years. One of the things I recall most about the cuisine is the manner they serve and enjoy it. They bring out many different bowls and dishes, each containing one single ingredient. Everyone sits around and eats almost in a buffet/picnic style sitting. You'd have bowls of tomatoes,cucumber, peaches,olives,feta cheese,grapes with a loaf of bread, etc... Everyone sits and shares and talks about your day as you eat a slice of peach! You don't pile your plate with food, in fact often you don't even have your own plate...you simply tear off a piece of bread and grab a piece of cheese and take a few bites. Your challenge is to look up some of the main foods they serve in Turkey for breakfast or lunch, then have a meal like this yourself and set it up in the same manner. I'll post a picture in this weeks challenge post to give you an idea of how they set it out. Have fun and iyi gunler!

Guidelines:
Some of our passengers lost their luggage through the airlines getting here. The passenger’s on your team need your help. You might have an extra sweater or something your fellow passenger could really use. Post what you will do (your promise) to help some of the other passenger’s that lost some of their luggage. They are worried they won’t have “what it takes” to enjoy this cruise to lose. (This is your commitment to be here for them and for taking an active role during this cruise).

Port Athens Greece: Cuisine!

Guidelines:
Beautiful ancient Athens! Birthplace of many great philosophers and some pretty healthy food too!Try a Greek dish! Use a recipe, go out to a restaurant, use frozen, just try a Greek food but make it a healthy choice. Post what you ate and what you thought of it. Earn 2 points for trying the food and sharing your experience. Did you know the Greeks have a heart healthy diet? Though we're getting our fair share of healthy food at this port, we cant forget the ships intercom announcing the exercise class! What? You think because you're walking around Greece that's enough exercise when we're trying to get fit and lose weight? Be sure to check out what the activity director is ordering us for this week now!

Week 3

Port Athens Greece: On-Ship Activity!

Guidelines:
Activity Director Mrs. BackBreaker doesn't care if Athens is awaiting, we must fit in time for our exercise! 30 minutes 4 times this week. Intentional exercise is exercise purely for your cardio or muscular health. It isn't the walking you do shopping at the mall or for groceries. It's walking non-stop.It's working out to a video, dancing non-stop to music,doing calisthenics, lunges,yoga,pilates,many things. It must be sustained, intentional exercise. You can break it up into two 15 min sessions, or even into 5 min. sessions .Its up to you! Anything you do as intentional exercise is important your team will earn points even if you just get up and exercise for a part of the required time. Points will be earned for each day of exercise. Points will be explained in a post once we arrive to Athens.
