Challenge Forum: How many steps?

So our first minichallenge is to walk the farthest possible to our shopping destinations...and as a side challenge...if you have a pedometer....why don't we post our steps at the end of the week!

This will keep us honest and moving!

Can this minichallenge be added to the other ones so that you have to enter something on your weigh-in day?

Hope..As far as I can tell, there is no way to enter a number on the minichallenges...just clicking on yes or no is the option. It would be hard for me to hypothesize how many steps one would take....it would depend on how much shopping you do and what your normal schedule is. I think the option of posting if you are "proud" of your work might work, but I am open to other options Smile

I don't know if you can change the challenge once you have posted it, but I like the idea of wearing a pedometer. For me, I think I will use the benchmark of 10,000 steps in a day. If I hit that, I will consider the goal as being met. For my lifestyle, not sure if the parking rule alone will be of much benefit to me, although I can certainly do it when I park at work (which I already do) and when buying groceries (which I sometimes do). I just bought a new car, so thats extra motivation to park in remote spots. Good luck everyone on the challenge!

I joined Walk with Walgreens and everytime you log in a "walk", your steps, you earn things like coupons, the first coupon was for $5 off a pedometer, it's pretty good!
