What are the best ways of getting out of slumps or period's of time when you just dont feel like working out or eating right? How do YOU get out of your slumps?

calories.....how do you really know how many to take in....
When I go on a diet, I think I am not eating enough. I think I am putting my body into storeing mode. How do you really know how maney calories to intake. I am very new to this website btw.
