I have Secondary Progessive Multiple Sclerosis. Up to last spring (2011) I was using a cane due to my instability. Due to nutrition, conventional medicine, EXERCISE, and pychological outlook I have been able to now run in local 5K races. I have lost over 100lbs. Now working on those last few pounds. Currently, training for a 10 mile race in May. Plus, not only do I have the CONSTANT battle with my MS I am over 50 years old. Before or after work you can usually find me at the gym. I am either cross-training and/or running. Also I am waiting for the weather to get warmer so I can go outside and run. I wasn't able to run an ENTIRE 5k race till July 2010. Now the farthest I have ran is 6 miles. Working up to 12 miles before the 10 mile race is my other goal. Then to continue competing in area 5Ks this summer. I am ALWAYS WORKING - AND ALWAYS TRYING TO IMPROVE - AND ALWAYS CONTINUING TO STAY MOBILE!!!
