For those in Menopause (of which I am one), realize that it might take some weeks for your body to adjust to your new way of eating. I am losing more weekly now (6 weeks after starting this diet) than I ever was in the first 2 or 3 weeks. It would have been very easy for me to believe that this wasn't working, but I am glad I stuck with it.

Not really new, but DO NOT jump on the scales more than once a week. It's disheartening. Also, I can't stress enough the power of the tape measure. This is the ONLY thing that's kept me going through menopause and especially the past 2 weeks!

Definitely take measurements, and record them. For menopausal women (especially!), the scale will go up and down and you will need to see how far you've come so as not to lose heart.
