Yay, I weighed myself just for the "fun" of it this morning and I'm down! Don't you love that? So let's see...I had a busy day running errands and doing things today and it's already 6:30 and I'm tired and want to take a nap, when I have plenty of other things I want to do! Update: so as I was writing this I was so tired I just laid down and wanted to take a 20 minute nap. I must really be exhausted because it turned into and hour and 20 minutes. And I could still sleep. I'll probably skip the workout, and go to bed early.

On my errands run I went by my 2 places of employment, the student government office at school, 3 thrift shops, a mall, Blockbuster and the library. All of this in Columbia, which is an hour and a half away! But at the library I got 4 workout DVDs that I'm excited to try. I have 2 already out from there, so need to do them soon! The types I got were kickboxing, a Firm, Tae Bo, and another step aerobic workout. Last night I did 2 Core Secrets DVDs and one part of a strength training Firm DVD. I'm sort of worried because I'm not sore today, so I'm dreading tomorrow...

I also went by some thrift stores to look for a step for working out. I found one of the Firm's FannyLifters (2 steps) and bought each step for $2.00 - only $4.00, yay!

I've eaten well today too. I had an english muffin and banana this morning and for lunch/early dinner I stopped at Captain D's b/c I was hungry. I got their shrimp skewers with green beans and broccoli.

Hoping the scales go down this week,
Alaina

You had a wonderful day! It's nice to see that someone else besides me shops at the thrift stores! I LOVE rummaging thru their book section. I can get a huge hardback for only a buck! Now, as for you...I guess you have to put those DVD's in and hit PLAY! sometimes, if you just watch it when you don't want to work out, you'll be inspired to get up and make an attempt! You did wonderful on your diet today! BTW, great grad pic! I was thinking the other day that you haven't graced us with a single pic from that momentous occassion!

Lol, I know I was too lazy to put them up! I'll try and change pics out every few days. FS needs a photo album thing so we can put "before" and "afters"!

Did you get the dvd's from USC or the public library? Our library in town is not up to date at all.

Ah, I tried TAEBO, I couldn't do it. I have alot of admiration for people that can do workout DVD's because I always feel too dumb while I'm doing them. You really are dedicated though, steps, dvd's, what else are you buying?

I could not do taebo either! I got 2 of the biggest loser dvds and those are alot easier!

I tried tai bo also. It is very hard. Not at all like Tai chi.

Amy - from the richland co. public library...I still have a card from when I lived there and it's so much better than anywhere here. I haven't fessed up to them that I'm not a county tax payer anymore *gasp* That gives me an idea... VL - the problem is now I'm buying this stuff or getting it from the library and I have no where for it! I pumped up my stability ball on Tuesday and got these steps yesterday and have my weights out, lol this is what happens when Greg is gone for a few days, I take over! I'm hoping to buy some of those interlocking weights though in the near future.
