OK!! I'm in the teens now! I never dreamed I'd be able to do this. Having some aches and pains from running, but those should begin to resolve as I lose more. Overall this WOE seems effortless once I got the basics figured out. A friend and coworker noticed the changes in me and got on board, which has given me a buddy to talk to about food, recipes, etc. I am really excited because by next spring I'll be right where I want to be. I need to get physically stronger now, and that's just a matter of finding the time to get to the gym. I have been thinking about tinkering with more carbs in my diet, but now that I'm losing again, I don't want to touch anything. I've really been staying vlc, which works well on a daily basis. My only problem is that I don't always feel like I have the fuel to run. What to do about that??

So glad you found something you are comfortable and excited with! It can sometimes make all the difference!!! You seem to be doing a fantastic job...so keep up the good work! (I am not a runner...and have little to offer regarding fueling up for that...but I do know you can track your energy and carb up w/ healthy veggies the night before you expect a low energy level - which is typically every 3 to 4 days depending on your running schedule.) (if you log your energy levels for a couple of weeks, you'll see a pattern...it has to do w/ burning all the glycogen out of your muscles.)
