I'm back! With a new set of goals!

1. Don't beat myself up about gaining weight. That just causes me to backslide even more and feel bad about myself! I have accomplished a lot in my life while I was gaining the weight back - I took an old feed store and painstakingly turned it into a photo studio and taught myself all the technical aspect of studio lighting, ratios, etc. I now have a small business that is keeping me very busy while I still commute and work full time at my "real" job! But I love the creativity the photography business allows me!
2. Make 1 hour of time for myself each day. I've been so consumed that I have totally neglected self care. I need to start getting more sleep, making the time to exercise and grocery shop for the items I need for healthy meals. My creativity will go down the drain if I don't take the time for myself.

That's it. Just going to try to eat healthy 80% of the time, exercise 3 times a week, and go to bed earlier. That is enough to start with!

Loved everything you said in your journal. Those are great goals and that is really all we need to do. Eat right, exercise, and sleep. Self care and acceptance are all we really need. Like I tell my yoga class all the time - "put yourself first on your list sometimes"!!
