Well I didn't lose, but I didn't gain and I ate on my plan and exercised 5 days this week. TOM is here so I might be retaining water. I am going to go at this plan another week and then re-evaluate my calorie needs.

If I am "maintaining" at -800 cals/day then maybe going to -1000 will help. I don't want to go too low because I am quite active. Just the fact that I am not gaining right now is very reassuring because I am eating more carbs (yet good carbs) than I usually have. To my calculations -800 cals/day should get me down 1 lb every 10 days. According to the Daily Plate I should be losing 1 lb per week.

Also according to the Daily Plate website on days I don't work out I should be eating:
1800 cals to lose 1 lb/wk
1550 cals to lose 1.5 lbs/wk
1300 cals to lose 2 lbs/wk
and more each day depending on how much I burn exercising. I found this interesting and re-affirming.
170.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
